We keep the minimum Deskbell needs to work, we don't sell data, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Who is responsible
For people who sign up or have a Deskbell account: [to be completed] (tax ID [to be completed]), [to be completed], hola@deskbell.si.
For people who request a booking or use the chat on a page: the business that owns that page. Deskbell processes that data on the business's behalf, following its instructions and our Terms.
What data and why
- If you sign up or have an account: name, email, niche, city and what you put on your page. To provide the service (contract).
- If you request a booking: name, email or phone, the description, reference photos, date, place and budget. To pass them to the business and handle the deposit (contract with the business).
- If you use a page's chat: your questions and the answers. To answer from the business's information; unanswered questions go to the business.
- If you pay a deposit: Stripe handles your card; we only see the amount and whether it was paid or refunded.
- Usage data (visits, which AI assistant you came from): for the business's stats and to improve Deskbell (legitimate interest).
- Meta's advertising cookie, only with your consent: see Cookies.
Please don't include health information in the chat or in requests.
AI chat
The chat on each page is an AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) that answers only from the business's information. The page always says so. Anthropic doesn't use this data to train its models.
Who else processes it
Providers working for us, under processing agreements and with safeguards for transfers outside the EU (standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework):
- Vercel: website hosting (EU / US)
- Supabase: database and photos (EU)
- Stripe: deposit and subscription payments (EU / US)
- Resend: sending email (US)
- Anthropic: AI chat answers and drafts (US)
- Expo: app notifications (US)
- Meta: ad measurement, only with your consent (EU / US)
How long
- Account and page: while you have them. If you delete your account, it's removed within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (invoices, 6 years).
- Requests and chats: while the business keeps its account, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Sign-ups without an account: 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection by writing to hola@deskbell.si. We reply within a month. With an account, you can download or delete your data yourself in Settings. If it's about a booking, we pass it to the business. You can also complain to Spain's data protection agency (aepd.es) or your local one.
Children
Deskbell isn't for children under 14. Some niches, such as tattoos, require confirming you're 18 or over.
